Welcome to AdelCC
We are actively recruiting new players of all standards and experience.
For those that don't know us, Adel C.C. are one of north Leeds' most successful cricket clubs, with one of the most picturesque grounds in the area, and an enviable range of facilities available to members.
Cricket is played at the club pretty much 7 days a week throughout the summer, with the club fielding 4 senior sides and junior teams covering every age group.
The 1st XI have won the Aire-Wharfe 1st Division title 3 times in recent years, and have also (frustratingly!) finished 2nd 3 times, 3rd 4 times, 4th twice and 5th on 3 occasions.
We are constantly looking out for new playing members, whether you are the 'missing link' that can turn some of our 'near misses' into even more league titles, or even just a social cricketer who would like an occasional game when school exams make it practically impossible to field 4 senior teams at a weekend (or if you are anywhere in between these two extremes!).
The length of time that players tend to stay at Adel bears testament to the competitive but welcoming nature of the club ... the 'most experienced' XI that represented the 1st XI in 2008 can boast an impressive total of 2,200 appearances, 37,000 runs and 900 wickets for the club between them!!
So, if you are new to the area, or just fancy a new cricketing challenge, please contact the club using the details in the 'about us' section of the website.
Unfortunately, we are full in all junior sections except under 17, with long waiting lists too. Good for the future of cricket at Adel and beyond!
